Prolaps Organ Panggul (POP) adalah kondisi ginekologi ketika struktur panggul jatuh ke dalam vagina akibat otot dan ligamen yang melemah.[1]

Tipe

Prolaps organ panggul dapat dikelompokkan menjadi beberapa tipe berdasarkan kompartemen yang mengalami penurunan. Prolaps pada bagian anterior dinding vagina dapat berupa sistokel. Prolaps bagian posterior dinding vagina berupa rektokel. Adapun, prolaps vagina apikal dapat berupa penurunan rahim, leher rahim, maupun bagian apikal vagina[1]

Etiologi

Prolaps organ panggul disebabkan oleh beragam faktor berbeda. Faktor ini dapat berupa struktur anatomi, kondisi fisiologis, genetika, gaya hidup, dan interaksi dari faktor reproduktif

Perawatan

Ketika kasus ringan dan tidak bergejala, perawatan dapat dilakukan dengan latihan fisik seperti senam Kegel untuk memperkuat dasar panggul. Upaya pengembalian anatomi panggul menjadi normal dapat pula dilakukan dengan penggunaan alat medis seperti Pessarium. Pada prolaps stadium lanjut, dapat dilakukan pembedahan untuk meredakan gejala dan memperbaiki fungsi dasar panggul[1]
