Traktat Inggris-Irak pada Oktober 1922 merupakan sebuah persetujuan yang ditandatangani antara pemerintah Inggris dan Irak. Traktat ini didesain untuk mengizinkan Irak memerintah sendiri dengan memberikan Inggris kontrol terhadap kebijakan luar negeri Irak. Hal itu dimaksudkan untuk mencapai kesepakatan yang dibuat di Konferensi Kairo tahun 1921 untuk mendirikan Kerajaan Hasyimiyah di Irak.

Setelah Perang Dunia Pertama, bekas posesi Kesultanan Utsmaniyah dibagi antara kekuasaan Prancis dan Inggris, sedangkan sisanya menjadi negara modern Turki. Bekas provinsi Utsmaniyah, Baghdad, Mosul, dan Basra, diusulkan untuk menjadi mandat Kelas A Liga Bangsa-Bangsa di bawah pemerintahan Inggris secara langsung, yang dikenal sebagai Mandat Inggris untuk Mesopotamia. Masyarakat umum di wilayah tersebut bereaksi negatif terhadap mandat, tidak menyukai kontrol Inggris; hal ini membawa ke pemberontakan Irak 1920, yang menyebabkan Inggris malah memutuskan wilayah mandatnya akan menjadi Kerajaan Irak. Pada 23 Agustus 1921, Faisal ibn Hasayn dinobatkan sebagai Faisal I, Raja Irak.
