Santo Paulus dari Thebes (bahasa Koptik: Ⲁⲃⲃⲁ Ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲉ; bahasa Yunani Koine: Παῦλος ὁ Θηβαῖος, Paûlos ho Thēbaîos; bahasa Latin: Paulus Eremita; c. 227 – c. 341), umumnya dikenal sebagai Paulus Pertapa Pertama atau Paulus Pertapa, adalah seorang orang suci Mesir dianggap sebagai pertapa Katolik dan penggembala pertama,[1] yang diklaim memiliki tinggal sendirian di gurun Thebes, Mesir Romawi dari usia enam belas tahun hingga usia seratus tiga belas tahun. Ia dikanonisasi pada tahun 491 oleh Paus Gelasius I, dan dihormati sebagai santo oleh Gereja Katolik, Gereja Ortodoks Timur, dan Gereja Ortodoks Timur.[2][3][4]
