Noda hitam

Noda hitam (bahasa Inggris: black spot) merupakan "noda" yang ditimbulkan akibat ketidaksempurnaan perekaman matahari pada kamera telepon genggam. Kamera video ataupun kamera foto memiliki sensor elektronik di dalamnya yang mengubah cahaya menjadi sinyal elektronik. Jika objek yang terekam atau terpotret sangat terang, maka sensor itu akan kewalahan menerimanya, karena itu secara otomatis, pixel yang menerima cahaya berlebihan itu menjadi tidak berfungsi dengan baik. Kemudian, Titik hitam pada kamera itu akan terbentuk di wilayah yang paling terang dari sebuah objek, dalam hal ini adalah di tengah Matahari. Ini juga menjelaskan mengapa objek hitam itu selalu terlihat berada di tengah Matahari, bahkan ketika kamera bergeser-geser.

Ini biasa terjadi pada CCD lama atau CCD murah pada HP sehingga selalu meninggalkan noda hitam apabila terjadi OE (Over Exposure atau cahaya berlebih yang mengenai sensor), karena CCD murah tersebut hanya mengandalkan jendela rana (blade) saja yang terkadang tidak bisa mengunci secara penuh apabila diterpa cahaya / OE serta tanpa kemampuan Infra Merah.

Fenomena ini bisa terjadi pada saat Matahari bersinar dengan terik. Pada posisi Matahari terbenam dan tenggelam, anomali ini biasanya tidak terjadi karena intensitas cahaya yang dihasilkan tidak cukup kuat (kecuali untuk beberapa jenis kamera). Analoginya sama seperti kaca pembesar. Kita bisa membakar kertas dengan cahaya Matahari menggunakan kaca pembesar hanya ketika siang hari ketika Matahari bersinar sangat terik.
