Nia Sharma (lahir Neha Sharma pada tanggal 17 September 1990)[1] adalah seorang aktris televisi India.[2] Dia terkenal karena memainkan peran Manvi di Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai,[3][4] Roshni di Jamai Raja[5][6] dan Aarohi di Ishq Mein Marjawan. Dia adalah kontestan dalam Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.[7]

Kehidupan Awal & Kehidupan Pribadi

Nia Sharma lahir pada tanggal 17 September 1990 di Delhi . Dia adalah murid JIMS Rohini, Delhi. Dia menyelesaikan wisuda di Komunikasi Massa dari sana. Nama aslinya adalah Neha Sharma tapi dia berubah saat dia menemukannya umum dan bahkan ayahnya pun tidak mengetahuinya. Dia adalah anak bungsu dari keluarga mereka. Dia memiliki satu kakak laki-laki. Dia sangat dekat dengan ibunya seperti sahabatnya.[8]

Pada tahun 2016, Sharma menduduki peringkat nomor 3 dalam daftar Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women List oleh surat kabar Eastern Eye yang berbasis di Inggris.[9][10]

Karier

Sharma memulai karier televisinya di serial Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha dan Nia membuat langkah selanjutnya dengan serial itu Behnein. Kemudian, memainkan peran cameo dalam reality show The Player. Pada tahun 2011 Nia memainkan peran utama perempuan Maanvi di Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, karakter berlapis dengan berbagai emosi dari drama ke komedi ke nuansa emosional, menderita kanker. Nia adalah aktris Televisi India pertama yang tampil botak di layar dan penampilan terbaiknya memenangkannya "Best Actress Popular – Desh ki Dhadkan" Award di Indian Telly Awards pada tahun 2012.[11]

Pada tahun 2014, Nia memainkan peran utama wanita Roshni di Zee TV acara Jamai Raja berlawanan Ravi Dubey meskipun dia keluar dari pertunjukan setelah dua tahun pada tahun 2016.[12][13][14]

Pada 2017, Nia memerankan tokoh utama wanita Alia Mukherjee dalam serial web Vikram Bhatt Twisted yang cukup menyimpang dari peran dan karakter sebelumnya di Televisi.[15] Kemudian, Nia berpartisipasi Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Musim 8 berjudul pain in spain. Nia tersingkir pertama pada 6 Agustus, lagi pada 27 Agustus tetapi dibuat kembali sebagai entri kartu liar.[7][16][17] dan tampil baik dalam aksi berikutnya, akhirnya menjadi finalis pertama musim 8.[18]

Pada tahun 2018, ia bergabung dengan para pemain Ishq Mein Marjawan dalam peran utama sebagai Aarohi Kashyap berlawanan Arjun Bijlani. Acara ini ditayangkan di Colors TV dan berakhir pada Juni 2019.[19]

Pada 2019, Sharma bergabung di Naagin 4 sebagai Brinda di Colors TV.[20][21]
