Metrologi kelistrikan

Metrologi kelistrikan adalah disiplin ilmiah yang mempelajari tentang pengukuran listrik beserta penerapannya. Ilmu ini tidak hanya mencakup teori, tetapi juga penerapan praktis. Inti kajian dalam metrologi kelistrikan adalah metode pengukuran terhadap satuan besaran listrik. Dalam metrologi kelistrikan, pengukuran besaran listrik bersifat objektif dan memiliki prosedur yang benar. Kebenaran metode dan prosedur dilandasi oleh ilmu metrologi secara umum. Alat ukur hanya dapat diakui keandalannya setelah melalui sebuah sistem pengukuran yang juga dapat diandalkan. Pengukuran objektif dilakukan dengan memperhatikan tiga faktor yaitu sumber daya manusia, alat ukur, dan lingkungan. Sumber daya manusia berperan sebagai perancang dan pelaksana pengukuran. Dalam pelaksanaannya, sumber daya manusia telah memahami alat ukur terlebih dahulu. Sistem pengukuran yang andal dinilai dari ketertelusuran dan mutu proses pengukurannya.[1]
