Makanan berbahan rempah

Makanan berbahan rempah sejak dahulu telah ada di Nusantara. Jenis makanan yang bahan dasarnya adalah rempah-rempah hasil bumi Indonesia yang begitu terkenal hingga mancanegara di mana keragaman makanan tersebut membuat tiap daerah memiliki ciri khas masakan yang begitu otentik.[1] Masakan Indonesia terkenal dengan rasanya yang kaya di mana bentuk bumbu dari rempah-rempah yang beragam menjadi faktor penyebab makanan Indonesia menjadi terkenal.[2]

Jenis-Jenis Makanan

Berikut ini Jenis-jenis makanan yang berbahan dasar rempah antara lain :[3]

  • Arsik Ikan Mas, Jenis makanan ini berasal dari Sumatera Utara yang merupakan olahan ikan mas berpadu dengan bumbu rempah-rempah yang terdiri dari jahe, lengkuas, serai, kunyit, bawang, andaliman dan lainnya.
  • Sup Saudara, makanan berkuah dan cocok untuk disantap pada kondisi cuaca dingin di mana makanan ini berasal dari Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Makanan ini juga kaya akan rempah-rempah.
  • Kaledo adalah salah satu makanan khas Kaili di Palu, Sulawesi Tengah. Kaledo ini terlihat sama seperti sup buntut namun berbeda pada kenyataannnya. makanan ini juga terbuat dari rempah nusantara.[4]
