Kawasan Tadahan Air Tengah (Hanzi: 中央集水区, bahasa Inggris: Central Water Catchment, bahasa Melayu: Kawasan Tadahan Air Tengah/کاوسن تادهن اءير تڠه, bahasa Tamil: மத்திய நீர் நீர்ப்பிடிப்பு/Mattiya nīr nīrppiṭippu), adalah satu dari dua daerah tangkapan air di Singapura. Waduk-waduk utama negara – MacRitchie, Seletar Atas, Peirce Atas dan Peirce Bawah – berada di sini.[1]

Central Water Catchment terletak di pusat geografis kota, dan sebagian besar merupakan rumah bagi Hutan Simpanan Kawasan Tadahan Air Tengah yang menyimpan beberapa situs rekreasi lainnya, termasuk Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, dan River Safari.

Satwa Liar

Waduk MacRitchie memiliki hewan penduduk seperti burung, kera dan biawak. Bahkan, HSCB Treetop Walk, jembatan gantung satu arah adalah tempat umum bagi para pengamat burung dan wisatawan untuk pergi.

Monyet di Waduk MacRitchie terkenal karena menyerang orang karena mereka adalah makhluk agresif dan akan mengambil kesempatan untuk menyerang orang untuk makanan, membela diri atau diagitasi yang dipicu oleh intimidasi. Seorang wanita perlu mendapatkan tiga belas jahitan di jarinya sebagai akibat dari serangan itu[2] (dilaporkan oleh The Straits Times di sini).
