Kalkun-padang perut-putih atau korhaan perut putih ( Eupodotis senegalensis ) adalah spesies kalkun-padang Afrika . Ia tersebar luas di Afrika sub-Sahara di padang rumput dan habitat hutan terbuka.[2]

Keterangan

Ukurannya agak kecil untuk ukuran kalkun-padang, 48 hingga 61 sentimeter (19 hingga 24 in) panjang. Semuanya berwarna coklat kecoklatan di bagian atas dan dada dan putih di bagian perut, dengan kaki berwarna krem; remaja memiliki leher dan kepala berwarna coklat muda, dan dewasa memiliki leher biru keabu-abuan. Betina dewasa memiliki mahkota berwarna abu-abu, garis coklat dan kekuningan di bawah mata, dan bintik hitam di tenggorokan. Jantan dewasa memiliki mahkota berwarna hitam, garis hitam di pipi putih, bercak tenggorokan hitam, dan paruh berwarna merah muda. Seruan tersebut, yang sering diucapkan pada pagi dan sore hari, digambarkan sebagai " k'whuka WHUKa yang sangat keras dan parau, k'wuka WHUKa ... , atau k'warrak, k'warrak... [3]

Spesies ini biasanya terlihat berpasangan atau dalam kelompok keluarga, karena anak-anaknya tinggal bersama induknya lebih lama dibandingkan dengan bustard lain di wilayah tersebut.[3]
