Johan Teterissa

Johan Teterissa (lahir sekitar tahun 1961 – 4 Desember 2019) adalah seorang guru sekolah dasar, aktivis, dan anggota Republik Maluku Selatan (RMS), kelompok separatis aktif yang menganjurkan kemerdekaan Maluku dari Indonesia. Teterissa dijatuhi hukuman penjara seumur hidup karena pengkhianatan pada bulan April 2008 setelah memimpin protes tanpa kekerasan terhadap pemerintahan Indonesia pada tahun 2007. Teterissa, dan sekelompok 19 penari tradisional Maluku, mengibarkan bendera separatis Republik Maluku Selatan yang dilarang di depan Presiden Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono pada tanggal 29 Juni 2007, di Kota Ambon, ibu kota Provinsi Maluku.^[2] Amnesti Internasional menobatkannya sebagai tahanan hati nurani.^[3]

Teterissa dilaporkan pertama kali bergabung dengan RMS pada tahun 2002 di desa asalnya Aboru, yang terletak di Maluku Tengah.^[2] Teterissa, yang berprofesi sebagai guru sekolah dasar, pernah ditangkap dan dijatuhi hukuman ringan di masa lalu karena demonstrasi pengibaran bendera serupa pada tahun 2003.^[2]
