Izabel Jahja (lahir 5 Februari 1976) adalah pemeran, model, editor, dan presenter Indonesia.[2]

Kehidupan awal

Ayah Izabel berasal dari Minangkabau dan ibunya berkebangsaan Prancis.[3] Ayahnya, Eddy Rusnaldi Jahja, merupakan cucu dari Jahja Datoek Kajo.

Karier

Izabel memulai kariernya sebagai seorang model. Pada 1988, ia mulai tampil sebagai model di sampul depan sejumlah majalah di Indonesia.

Selain berkarier di dunia hiburan, Izabel juga berprofesi sebagai seorang editor di majalah A+ sejak tahun 2003 dan Harper's Bazaar sejak tahun 2010.[4]

Kehidupan pribadi

Izabel menikahi David Lusteaux pada Maret 2009. Mereka dikaruniai satu orang anak.[5]

Kontroversi

Isabel melakukan pemotretan telanjang bersama aktor Anjasmara dalam pameran seni rupa CP Biennale yang diselenggarakan di Museum Bank Indonesia pada tahun 2005. Pemotretan itu diberi tajuk "Pink Swing Park" dan merupakan hasil karya dari Davy Linggar bersama Agus Suwage.[6] Front Pembela Islam mengadukan kegiatan tersebut ke Kepolisian Daerah Metropolitan Jakarta Raya dengan tuduhan pornografi pada 22 September 2005.[7]

Pendidikan

Izabel pernah menempuh pendidikan di London School of Public Relations pada tahun 1997 sampai 1998.[8]
