Santo Pangeran Imre dari Hungaria (bahasa Hungaria: Szent Imre herceg) juga Henricus, Emery, Emerick, Emmerich, Emericus atau Americus (skt. 1007 – 2 September 1031) merupakan putra Raja Santo István I dari Hungaria dan Gisela dari Bayern. Ia diasumsikan[1] menjadi putra kedua István, ia dinamai seperti pamandanya, Santo Heinrich II, dan satu-satunya putra István yang mencapai usia dewasa.

Imre dididik secara ketat dan asketis oleh biarawan Benediktin dari Venesia, Gellért dari Csanád dari usia 15 sampai 23 tahun. Ia dimaksudkan untuk menjadi raja berikutnya di Hungaria, dan ayahandanya menulis nasihat untuk mempersiapkannya untuk tugas ini. Ayahandanya menjadikan Imre rekan-pemimpin dalam masa hidupnya.

Ia menikah pada tahun 1022,[2] identitas istrinya diperdebatkan. Beberapa mengatakan Irene Monomachina, seorang kerabat kaisar Bizantium Konstantinus IX Monomakhos,[3] atau seorang wanita dari wangsa Argyros yang menjadi kaisar Bizantium Romanos III Argyros. Lainnya mengatakan Patricissa Kroasia, putri Krešimir IV dari Kroasia. Orang lain mungkin adalah Adelaide/Rixa dari Polandia atau salah satu saudaranya yang tidak disebutkan namanya.

Tapi rencana ayahandanya tidak akan pernah terpenuhi: pada tanggal 2 September 1031, pada usia 24 tahun, Imre terbunuh oleh seekor babi hutan pada saat berburu. Diasumsikan bahwa ini terjadi di Hegyközszentimre (sekarang Sântimreu, Rumania). Ia dimakamkan di Basilika Székesfehérvár . Beberapa penyembuhan menakjubkan dan konversi terjadi di makamnya, sehingga pada tanggal 5 November 1083 Raja László I menggali makam Imre dalam sebuah upacara besar, dan Imre dikanonisasikan untuk kesalehan hidupnya dan kesuciannya bersama dengan ayahandanya dan Uskup Gellért dari Csanád oleh Paus Gregorius VII.

Santo Imre paling sering digambarkan dalam zirah lempeng dengan mahkota dan lily.

Hal ini diyakini oleh beberapa orang Hungaria bahwa Amerigo Vespucci, penjelajah Italia dan senama Amerika, dinamai menurut santo.[4]
