Home Sweet Home (film 2018)


Home Sweet Home merupakan sebuah film pendek dengan tema bencana alam dan korupsi. Film berdurasi 16 menitan ini disutradarai oleh Mohammad Ifdal, seorang sutradara asal Palu.[1][2] Film ini mengambil latar belakang pasca bencana gempa dan tsunami Palu yang terjadi pada tahun 2018.[2] Home Sweet Home kental akan kritik sosial tentang penanganan pasca bencana. Film ini berhasil meraih penghargaan film terbaik pada ajang Festival Film Antikorupsi (ACFFest) 2019.[3] Sebelumnya proposal film ini masuk ke dalam 10 besar proyek film yang didanai oleh ACFFEST KPK dengan besaran Rp 20 juta/film.[2] Film ini diproduksi oleh Sousinema Film dan Padi Padi Creative.[2]

Alur

Home Sweet Home bercerita tentang rutinitas para pengungsi bencana gempa dan tsunami di Palu. Mereka mengantri air dan terpaksa tinggal di hunian sementara. Adalah Tauhid (Hamlan), seorang kepala keluarga yang kehilangan istrinya. Ia kini tinggal hanya bersama putrinya, Farah, yang baru berusia tujuh tahun. Farah tampak sedih melihat kondisi ruahnya yang hancur berantakan dan tersisa puing-puing. Ia mengambil boneka beruang yang masih cukup utuh dan duduk di sofa yang kondisinya mengenaskan. Melihat kondisi putrinya itu Tauhid merasa sedih dan ingin segera kembali membangun rumah yang layak karena hunian sementara yang diempatinya bersama Farah sangatlah panas dan tak nyaman.

Ketika petugas pendataan rumah, Kasim, tiba maka Tauhid segera mengurusnya. Ia menjadi harapan bagi Tauhid untuk mendapatkan kembali rumah yang nyaman. Namun kemudian jawaban Kasim membuatnya begitu marah.
