Helvetica Chimica Acta adalah suatu jurnal ilmiah yang didirikan oleh Swiss Chemical Society. Jurnal ini dipublikasikan oleh John Wiley & Sons, baik dalam bentuk cetak atau elektronik.[1] Jurnal ini mempublikasikan makalah dalam seluruh lingkup kimia.[2][3][4] Jurnal ini memiliki faktor dampak 2014 sebesar 1.138.[5]

Pada 11 September 1992, Helvetica Chicimca Acta merayakan hari jadinya yang ke-75 tahun.[6][7]

Sejarah

  • 6 Agustus 1901: Pendirian Swiss Chemical Society (SCG)
  • 1911: IUPAC menolak SCG sebagai anggota, tidak memiliki jurnal sendiri
  • 11 September 1917: SCG mendirikan Helvetica Chimica Acta (HCA)
  • Musim semi 1918: Fasciculus I atau Volume I dari HCA diterbitkan
  • 1970: Bahasa Inggris diijinkan sebagai bahasa keempat
