Grüner See (Danau Hijau) adalah sebuah danau yang terletak di negara bagian Steiermark, Austria, tepatnya di sebuah desa yang bernama Tragöß. Danau ini dikelilingi oleh hutan dan Pegunungan Hochschwab.[1] Nama "Danau Hijau" mengacu kepada warna danau ini.[1] Airnya yang jernih berasal dari salju yang mencair di karst pegunungan dan bersuhu sekitar 6–7 °C.[1] Pada musim dingin, kedalaman danau ini hanya mencapai 1–2 m.[2][3] Namun, pada musim gugur, suhu meningkat dan salju pun mencair.[3] Danau ini mencapai kedalaman maksimal sebesar 12 m dari pertengahan Mei hingga Juni.[1] Pada bulan Juli, air mulai surut.[3]

Di danau ini terdapat berbagai macam fauna, seperti siput, kepiting kecil, dan berbagai spesies trout (Salmo).[1] Danau ini merupakan tempat menyelam yang populer, khususnya pada bulan Juni ketika danau ini mencapai kedalaman maksimal.[1][3] A bridge and a bench could also be found underwater.[1] Di dasar danau dapat terlihat pepohonan, jalan, dan bahkan bangku taman,[4] sebab saat air menyusut kawasan sekitarnya dijadikan taman.

Akibat banyaknya wisatawan yang datang ke tempat ini secara mendadak, segala bentuk olahraga air dilarang di danau ini semenjak 1 Januari 2016.[5]
