Goa Tritip adalah goa yang terletak di Ujungwatu, Donorojo atau 45 Km sebelah utara Jepara dekat dengan Benteng Portugis.

Sejarah

Pada zaman dahulu goa tritip[1] digunakan oleh Mbah Joyo Kusumo untuk bertapa yang kemudian sekarang banyak diartikan orang sebagai tempat petilasannya. Tiap malam jum’at diberi sesajen berupa wedang gula dan wedang kopi. Namun pada malam jum’at wage sajian itu ditambah dengan kelapa muda dan bubur merah putih. Di sekitar daerah tersebut terdapat perahu kayu. Perahu tersebut konon katanya menjadi tempat pertapaan Mbah Joyo Kusumo.

Namun sekarang perahu yang terletak di gua tritip sudah tinggal setengah karena banyak diambil oleh orang-orang yang berkunjung disana untuk membuat api unggun dan lain sebagainya. Banyak pengunjung yang datang pada malam jum’at wage agar hajatnya tercapai setelah melakukan pertapaan melalui perantara mbah Joyo Kusumo kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.

Lokasi

Goa Tritip terletak di sebuah desa bernama Ujungwatu. Desa tersebut berada di sebelah utara dari pusat kota Jepara. Lebih tepatnya di kecamatan Donorojo. Tidak jauh dari sebuah benteng peninggalan bangsa Portugis.

Akses

Cukup mudah untuk menuju desa tempat Goa Tritip berada. Karena selain jalanan yang mendukung, juga ada angkutan umum yang siap mengantar wisatawan dari luar kota Jepara yang ingin berkunjung ke goa Tritip.

Kondisi dan Suasana

Tidak ada kesan menyeramkan di Goa Tritip, meskipun Goa Tritip pernah digunakan sebagai tempat bertapa. Keadaan goa seperti goa pada umumnya. Jika anda berkunjung ke sana, anda akan menemukan sisa – sisa sebuah perahu kayu yang pernah digunakan oleh Mbah Joyo sebagai tempat bertapanya. Meskipun sering kali dikunjungi oleh wisatawan baik itu dari dalam dan luar kota Jepara, tempat tersebut belum mendapat perhatian dari pemerintah. Keadaan sekitar goa masih tidak terawat, terlebih lagi bagian – bagian perahu bekas Mbah Joyo yang sering kali diambil oleh orang yang mengunjungi tempat tersebut.
