Francis Weston Sears

Francis Weston Sears (1 Oktober 1898 - November 1975) adalah seorang fisikawan Amerika. Dia adalah seorang profesor fisika di MIT selama 35 tahun sebelum pindah ke Dartmouth College pada tahun 1956 [1] dan terkenal karena penulisan yang sering muncul menyadap buku pengantar fisika bersama Mark Zemansky, sering disebut sebagai Sears dan Zemansky. Dia adalah seorang anggota dari Optical of Society America, dan aktif dalam American Association of Physics Teachers, menjabat sebagai presiden pada tahun 1956.
