Foodpanda

Foodpanda adalah layanan pesan-antar makanan melalui situs atau aplikasi . Beda dengan layanan pesan-antar lainnya, pelanggan FoodPanda tidak melangsungkan pemesanan makanan lewat telepon, melainkan lewat situs resmi FoodPanda dan aplikasi.

Cara memesan

Pilih restoran

Masukkan kode pos wilayah pengiriman makanan pada halaman utama. Pilih salah satu restoran yang terpampang pada kategori pilihan wilayah anda.

Pilih Makanan Anda

Lihat menu yang ditampilkan oleh restoran yang telah anda pilih. Klik menu makanan yang anda inginkan, dan pesanan anda akan otomatis masuk ke dalam shopping cart anda. Apabila ada permintaan khusus seperti topping pizza atau permintaan lainnya, box pilihan akan muncul secara otomatis pula.

Check Out dan Pembayaran

Apabila anda telah puas dengan pilihan makanan yang telah dipesan, klik “Order Now” dan anda akan diminta untuk mengisi detail alamat dan informasi lainnya. Ikuti instruksi yang tertera dan pembayaran pun dapat dilakukan ketika pesanan anda tiba. Karena saat ini, FoodPanda Indonesia hanya menerima pembayaran tunai atau cash.

Pengantaran Makanan

Setalah menyelesaikan proses Check Out, anda akan menerima SMS konfirmasi dari operator FoodPanda Indonesia. Setelah itu, anda hanya perlu duduk manis dan menunggu pesanan anda tiba dengan aman dan tepat waktu.

Foodpanda di Indonesia

Persaingan bisnis digital semakin ketat, Foodpanda sebagai layanan pesan-antar tidak mampu menghadapi persaingan tersebut, salah satu layanan serupa juga dilakukan oleh Gojek melalui fitur Go-Food.[1] Pengumuman penghentian operasi Foodpanda disebarkan melalui surel yang ditandatangani oleh Managing Director Foodpanda Indonesia, Victor Delannoy.[2]

Direncanakan dalam waktu dekat Foodpanda akan kembali beroperasi Indonesia, oleh PT Foodpanda Delivery Services Indonesia. Peletakan batu pertama kantor Foodpanda oleh perusahaan baru tersebut berlangsung di daerah Sudirman, Jakarta pada 30 Agustus 2023 yang dibangun dengan modal US$ 200 juta. Layanan pesan antar akan dilaksanakan mulai pertengahan 2024.[3]
