Ray Edward Cochran (/ˈkɒkrən/; 3 Oktober 1938 – 17 April 1960) adalah seorang musisi rock and roll berkebangsaan Amerika. Lagu-lagu Cochran's, seperti "Twenty Flight Rock", "Summertime Blues", "C'mon Everybody" dan "Somethin' Else", menangkap rasa frustrasi dan keinginan remaja di pertengahan 1950-an dan awal 1960-an.[1] Ia bereksperimen dengan perekaman multitrack , teknik distorsi, dan overdub bahkan pada single pertamanya.[2] Dia memainkan gitar, piano, bass, dan drum.[1] Citranya sebagai seorang pemuda berpakaian tajam dan menarik dengan sikap pemberontak melambangkan sikap rocker 1950-an, dan dalam kematian ia mencapai status ikonik.[3]
