Devario adalah genus ikan dalam keluarga Cyprinidae yang berasal dari sungai dan sungai kecil di Asia Selatan dan Tenggara.[1] Genus ikan ini memiliki sungut pendek dan banyak spesiesnya yang memiliki garis vertikal atau horizontal. Spesies ini memakan berbagai serangga air kecil, krustasea, dan cacing, serta benihnya memakan plankton.
