Before I Fall adalah film Amerika Serikat bergenre drama yang disutradarai oleh Ry Russo-Young, berdasarkan skenario yang ditulis oleh Maria Maggenti. Film ini diangkat dari novel terbitan tahun 2010 berjudul sama karya Lauren Oliver. Before I Fall dibintangi oleh Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Kian Lawley, Jennifer Beals, Diego Boneta, dan Elena Kampouris. Proses produksi film ini mengambil lokasi di Squamish dan Vancouver, dari tanggal 16 November 16 sampai 19 Desember 2015.

Film ini akan ditayangkan kali pertama saat perhelatan Sundance Film Festival pada tanggal 21 Januari 2017,[2] dan dijadwalkan rilis secara resmi pada 3 Maret 2017, oleh Open Road Films.[3]

Pada tanggal 15 Juli 2010, Fox 2000 Pictures membeli hak cipta novel remaja Before I Fall, sebuah karya debutan Lauren Oliver yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2010.[8][9] Maria Maggenti diminta mengadaptasi novel tersebut ke dalam skenario film, sementara Jonathan Shestack akan memproduseri bersama Ginny Pennekamp.[8] Tahun 2011, skenario sudah terpampang dalam daftar hitam survey sebagai film yang tidak tidak layak diproduksi.[10] Ry Russo-Young disertakan sebagai sutradara.[3] 15 September 2015 diumumkan bahwa Zoey Deutch terlibat dalam film ini memerankan sebagai amantha Kingston, remaja di sekolah menengah atas.[3] Brian Robbins dan Matthew Kaplan akan memproduseri film ini di bawah bendera Awesomeness Films, bersama Shestack, yang akan mulai pada Oktober 2015.[3] 7 Oktober 2015, pemeran lain diumumkan bergabung antara lain Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Kian Lawley, Diego Boneta, dan Elena Kampouris.[4] Good Universe akan menangani penjualan film ini secara internasional di American Film Market.[4] 3 November 2015, Jennifer Beals bergabung dalam film ini, memerankan sebagai ibu Samantha.[5] 20 November 2015, Liv Hewson dipercaya dalam film ini untuk memerankan sebagai Anna Cartullo.[6] Adam Taylor mengerjakan komposisi musik untuk skor film.[9][11][12][13][14][15]
