Bangkit dari Bisu (Rising from Silence) adalah sebuah film dokumenter tentang para penyintas peristiwa G-30S/PKI yang tergabung dalam sebuah grup paduan suara bernama Dialita[1] I. Film dokumenter pendek yang disutradarai oleh Shalahuddin Siregar ini berdurasi 29 menit.[1] Film ini tayang di Indocs Film Festival di Erasmus Huis pada tahun 2016[2] dan Festival Screendoc Expanded! pada tahun 2017.[3]

Alur Cerita

Film ini menampilkan grup paduan suara bernama Dialita, singkatan dari Di atas Lima Puluh Tahun,[2] yang anggota-anggotanya sebagian merupakan penyintas peristiwa G-30S/PKI. Kebanyakan anggota keluarganya atau mereka sendiri ditangkap karena diduga terlibat dalam gerakan atau partai tersebut tanpa melalui proses pengadilan. Mereka membentuk grup paduan suara dan membawakan lagu-lagu pada masa tersebut untuk berdamai dengan masa lalu dan sebagai alat bertutur kepada generasi muda tentang sisi lain dari sejarah tahun 1965.[1] Pada tahun 2016 mereka merilis album pertama Dialita, berjudul Dunia Milik Kita.[1][4]

Salah satu narasumber dalam film dokumenter ini adalah Bu Utati Koesalah. Ia dijebloskan ke dalam penjara seusai latihan paduan suara. Ia tidak tahu bila kelompok paduan suara yang diikutinya bagian dari gerakan partai terlarang. Selama bertahun-tahun ia dengan tabah menjalani hukuman di penjara. Ia yang sering mendapat tugas menyusun komposisi lagu-lagu Dialita. Ia berharap generasi muda dapat mengetahui sisi lain peristiwa tahun 1965.

Sedangkan juru bicara Dialita, Uchikowati, grup paduan suara Dialita adalah tempat untuk memberikan dukungan kepada para penyintas dan mengembalikan semangat juga harga diri para penyintas.[2]
