Bad Robot adalah sebuah perusahaan produksi film dan televisi Amerika Serikat pimpinan J. J. Abrams. Di bawah divisinya Bad Robot Productions, perusahaan tersebut bertanggung jawab atas serial televisi Alias, Lost, Fringe, Person of Interest, Revolution dan Westworld bersama dengan film-film jangka fitur Cloverfield, Star Trek, Super 8, Star Trek Into Darkness, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Star Trek Beyond dan The Cloverfield Paradox.

Latar belakang

Bad Robot awalnya berbasis di Touchstone Television, tetapi dipindahkan oleh Abrams ke Paramount Pictures dan Warner Bros Television, setelah kontraknya dengan ABC berakhir pada tahun 2006. Bad Robot memproduksi Lost dalam hubungannya dengan ABC Studios, sebelumnya Touchstone Television. Kedua perusahaan bersama-sama menghasilkan Six Degrees dan What About Brian.

Abrams adalah Ketua dan Co-Chief Executive Officer Bad Robot, dan Katie McGrath menjabat sebagai Co-Chief Executive Officer Perusahaan. Menurut The Hollywood Reporter, WarnerMedia setuju untuk membayar Bad Robot setidaknya $ 250 juta (ditambah berbagai insentif keuangan) untuk memproduksi film fitur, acara televisi, video game, dan konten digital.[7]
