Xylotheca, biljni rod u porodici Achariaceae. Postoje 4 priznate vrste, grmovi i manje drveće, iz Afrike i Madagaskara.[1]

Opis

Rod je opisan 1843..[2] Grmovi bez trnova. Čašni listići otpadaju. Listovi cijelog ruba. Cvjetovi pojedinačni, muški ili dvospolni, veliki i upadljivi. Čaška s 3–4 lapova. Latice slobodne, bijele, 7–12, brojnije od čaške. Prašnika mnogo. Plodnica sjedeća, jednopretinasta. Plod drvenasta kapsula; ima 8 debelih zaklopaca. Rasprostranjenost: 3 vrste u istočnoj i jugoistočnoj Africi. U Mozambiku: 4 taksona.[3]
