Simarouba tulae je vrsta stabla iz porodice gorkuničevki. Endemska vrsta sa Portorika. [1]
Morfologija
Simarouba tulae Urb. je grm ili stablo, obično visoko 2–8 m.[2]
Listovi imaju 5–10 liski. Liske su eliptične, pri vrhu prilično naglo ušiljene, duge 5–11 cm i široke 1,5–5 cm.[2]
Čaška je visoka oko 2 mm, a njezini su režnjevi približno jednako dugi kao cijev čaške. Latice su duge oko 1 cm.[2]
Prašnici su dugi oko 7 mm i imaju duguljaste prašnice duge približno 2 mm. Privjesak prašničke niti potpuno je gol, dug 1–2 mm, sa slobodnim kratkim vrhom.[2]
Plod je spljošten, široko obrnuto jajast i dug 2–3,5 cm.[2]
U starijem Nooteboomovu tretmanu vrsta se navodi kao Quassia tulae (Urb.) Noot., dok je danas prihvaćena kao Simarouba tulae Urb.[2]
