Samydeae, tribus u porodici vrbovki. Nekad dio porodice Flacourtiaceae. Sastoji se od 9 rodova.

Opis

Veliko tropsko pleme, rasprostranjeno u svim tropima. Uključuje rodove poput Casearia, Ryania itd. Drveće ili grmovi, najčešće s dvospolnim cvjetovima. Listovi često imaju prozirne žlijezde (točkice/linije). Rub lista može biti cijel ili nazubljen. Cvjetovi: Imaju čašku (3–7 dijelova), ali nemaju latice. Prisutni su nektarni diskovi. Prašnika obično 3–12 (ili više). Razmnožavanje: Plodnica 1-pretinasta s više sjemenih zametaka. Stil jednostavan ili razdijeljen na 3 dijela. Plod i sjeme: Plod najčešće kapsula (često izgleda kao boba). Sjemenke s arilusom (mesnati dodatak). Rod Casearia (245 vrsta) je jedan od najvećih i najvažnijih u skupini.[1]
