Samilpo je slatkovodno jezero površine 80 ha u jugoistočnoj pokrajini Kangwon, smještenog u jugoistočnoj Sjevernoj Koreji. Nalazi se oko 2 kilometara (km) od obale Japanskog mora i 9 km sjeverozapadno od granice s Južnom Korejom. Jedan je od prirodnih spomenika Sjeverne Koreje. Okružen umjerenom širokolisnom i miješanom šumom, jezero Samilpo je BirdLife International također uvrstio kao Važno područje za ptice (IBA) površine 160 ha. Jezero podržava populacije zimujućih vodenih i močvarnih ptica. Vrste koje nastanjuju jezero uključuju[1] labudolike guske, lisaste guske, crvenokljune labudove, žutokljune labudove i crvenokape ždralove.[2]
