"Regression" je uvodna pjesma s albuma Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory (izdan 1999. godine) američkog progresivnog metal sastava Dream Theater. Osim na studijskom izdanju, pjesma je još uključena u uživo izdanje Live Scenes from New York i DVD video izdanje Metropolis 2000: Scenes from New York.
Cijela pjesma je zapravo uvod u koncept albuma. Glavni lik priče, Nicholas, je na terapiji regresije te pozorno sluša glas hipnoterapeuta koji ga polako vraća u prošli život. U nekim dijelovima skladbe u pozadini se čuju dijelovi iz pjesama "The Spirit Carries On" i "Home". Na kraju pjesme Nicholas upoznaje djevojku Victoriju, njegov prošli život.
