Pycnocomon je biljni rod češljugovki smješten u tribus Lomelosieae, dio porodice kozokrvnica. Postoje dvije priznate vrste iz sjevernog i južnog Sredozemlja[1]
Tipična i najrasprostranjenija je Pycnocomon rutifolium, dok je Pycnocomon intermedium ograničena na Iberski poluotok.
