Prijenosna RNA

Prijenosna, transportna ili transferna ribonukleinska kiselina (tRNA)[1][2] donosi aminokiseline u ribosom za sintezu bjelančevina.
Svaka od 20 aminokiselina ima bar jednu vrstu tRNA koja sadrži između 73 i 93 nukleotida i najmanja je molekula RNA.[2][3] Svaka do ribosoma kroz citoplazmu dostavlja jednu odgovarajuću aminokiselinu[1] koja se veže u rastući lanac proteina.[2]
