Orectolobiformes, red morskih pasa u nadredu Galeomorphi. Žive pretežno na morskim dnima, a zbog svojih šara nazivani su carpet sharks. Najveći predstavnik kitopsina, koja se najviše razlikuje od ostalih vrsta ovog reda.
Pojavlju se još u geografskom razdoblju kasne jure.[1]
