Hyacintheae, tribus šparogovki. Opisan je 1827.[1] Ime je došlo po rodu Hyacinthus (zumbul).

Rod Pseudoprospero pripada vlastitom tribusu Pseudoprospereae, ili podtribusu Pseudoprosperineae, kao dijelu tribusa Hyacintheae, isto vrijedi i za rod Massonia i tribus Massonieae, odnosno podtribus Massoniinae .
