Heterokonta (Stramenopila), infracarstvo kromista, dio podcarstva Harosa. Sastoji se od tri koljena,[1] većinom su alge, u rasponu od divovskih višećelijskih alga do jednoćelijskih dijatomeja.
Uglavnom su vodeni organizmi koji imaju najčešće dva nejednaka biča (jedan s trepetljikama).
