DNA spona
DNA spona (eng. linker DNA) je dvolančana DNA između dviju nukleosomskih jezgara, koja skupa s histonom H1 drži jezgre skupa. DNA spona je kao struna u "modelu perlica na ogrlici",[1] koji se pravi uporabom ionske otopine u kromatinu.
DNA spona spaja se na histon H1 koji sjeda na nukleosomsku jezgru. Iako je nukleosom načelno spoj nukleosomske jezgre i DNA spone, riječ nukleosom se slobodno koristi samo za jezgru. DNA spona se može degradirati endonukleazama.[2]
