Chiharaea, rod crvenih algi smješten u potporodicu Corallinoideae, dio porodice Corallinaceae. Rod je opisan 1966. postoje četiri vrste a tipična je Chiharaea bodegensis uz pacifičku obalu Amerike (Kalifornija, Washington, Britanska Kolumbija).[1]
