Apodocephala je biljni rod iz porodice glavočika smješten u podtribus Lowryanthinae, dio tribusa Athroismeae. Postoji devet taksonomski priznatih vrsta i sve su madagaskarski endemi.[1] Poznatija vrsta je drvo Apodocephala pauciflora kojre raste po istočnim i sjevernim krajevima otoka.[2]
