Accara, monotipski biljni rod iz porodice mirtovki. Jedina vrsta A. elegans grm visine 1 do 2 metra visine koji kao endem raste jedino u brazilskoj državi Minas Gerais.[1] [2]
Opis
Accara elegans je biljna vrsta iz porodice Myrtaceae, koju je izvorno opisao De Candolle pod drugim rodom, pod imenom Myrtus elegans u Prodr. 3: 240 (1828). Landrum ju je kasnije reklasificirao u rod Accara. To je cvjetnica, koja se obično nalazi u tropskim ili suptropskim regijama Južne Amerike. Poput mnogih članova porodice Myrtaceae, može imati aromatične listove (često koji sadrže eterična ulja); male, često bijele ili krem cvjetove.
