שושנה סימון צ'טפילד (באנגלית: Shoshana Simone Chatfield) (נולדה ב-5 באוקטובר 1965) היא קצינה בדרגת אדמירל בצי ארצות הברית, המכהנת כנציגת ארצות הברית במועצה הצבאית של נאט"ו. קודם לכן כיהנה כמפקדת מכללת המלחמה של הצי. והייתה האישה הראשונה הממלאת תפקיד זה.[1]

השכלה אקדמית

שושנה צ'טפילד קיבלה את התואר הראשון שלה ביחסים בינלאומיים וצרפתית מאוניברסיטת בוסטון בשנת 1987.
היא למדה בבית הספר לממשל ע"ש קנדי באוניברסיטת הרווארד וקיבלה שם תואר שני במינהל ציבורי.
בשנת 2009 הוענק לצ'טפילד דוקטורט לחינוך באוניברסיטת קליפורניה בסן דייגו.[2]

צ'טפילד הוסמכה לקצונה בקורס קציני מילואים של הצי באוניברסיטת בוסטון. היא הוסמכה כטייסת מסוק ימי בשנת 1989 והטיסה את מסוקי הקרב הימיים הבאים:

(Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King)
(Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk)

בשנים 2001–2004 הייתה צ'טפילד עוזרת פרופסור למדע המדינה באקדמיית חיל האוויר של ארצות הברית.

פרסים

צ'טפילד זכתה להכרה מממשלת גואם על מנהיגותה ותרומותיה לאי.[8] בשנת 2009 היא נבחרה לאחת הבוגרות הבולטות באוניברסיטת בוסטון.[9]
