קמרון מורל דאגלס (באנגלית: Cameron Douglas נולד ב-13 בדצמבר 1978) [1] הוא שחקן קולנוע אמריקאי.

ביוגרפיה

דאגלס נולד בשנת 1978. הוא בנם הבכור של השחקן מייקל דאגלס ודיאנדרה מורל דאגלס (לבית לוקר), ונכדם של השחקן קירק דאגלס והשחקנית ילידת ברמודה, דיאנה דיל. הוריו התגרשו בשנת 1995. [2]

דרך נישואיו השניים של אביו לקתרין זיטה-ג'ונס, לדאגלס יש שני אחים למחצה מצד אביו.

קריירה

דאגלס הופיע בין היתר בסרטים: בחור קשוח לצד ג'קי צ'אן משנת 1997, "הכל עובר במשפחה" משנת 2003 בו שיחקו גם אביו, סבו וסבתו, "אדם וחווה ‑ הסיפור האמיתי" משנת 2005 ו- "Loaded" משנת 2008.

הוא לוהק לתפקיד ראשי בסרט "The Runner" משנת 2021.[3]

הליכים משפטיים והרשעה

סחר בסמים והרשעה

דאגלס נעצר בשל עבירות סמים לפחות שלוש פעמים. ב-1999 הוא נעצר במנהטן, כשברשותו קוקאין. הוא הואשם בעבירה של החזקת חומרים אסורים. [4] האישום בוטל לאחר שהודה באשמה פחותה של הפרת סדר. ב-2007 הוא הואשם בעבירה של החזקת חומר אסור לאחר ששוטרים מצאו מזרק עם קוקאין נוזלי במכונית שבה היה. ב-28 ביולי 2009, דאגלס נעצר על ידי מינהל אכיפת הסמים בגין החזקת מתאמפטמין. בשל הכמות הגדולה של הסם שנתפס, הואשם דאגלס בכוונה להפיץ. [5] האישום נושא עונש מאסר מינימלי של 10 שנים ומקסימום מאסר עולם. [6]

ב-27 בינואר 2010, דאגלס הודה באשמת קשירת קשר להפצת סמים והחזקת הרואין לאחר שחברתו הבריחה הרואין, שהוחבא בתוך מברשת שיניים חשמלית והעבירה לו אותו בזמן שהיה במעצר בית. [7] ב-20 באפריל 2010, דאגלס נידון לחמש שנות מאסר בגין החזקת הרואין וסחר כמויות גדולות של מתאמפטמין וקוקאין מחדר מלון בניו יורק. [8] [9] מייקל דאגלס נטל על עצמו בפומבי את האשמה ב"היותו אבא רע", עוד הוסיף כי "הוא (קמרון) עתיד למות או שמישהו יהרוג אותו. אני חושב שיש לו הזדמנות להתחיל חיים חדשים, והוא יודע את זה." [10]

באוקטובר 2011, דאגלס הודה באשמה בהחזקת סמים בכלא. [11] ב-21 בדצמבר 2011, הוא נידון ל-4 1⁄2 שנות מאסר נוספות בגין אישום זה. [12] בדצמבר 2012 נשברה רגלו על ידי אסיר אחר. [13] בינואר 2013, שוב נמצאו אצל דאגלס סמים בכלא בלורטו, פנסילבניה. הוא נכשל בבדיקת שתן ונשלח לבידוד. [14] ב-15 באפריל 2013, עונש המאסר המוארך שלו אושר על ידי בית המשפט השני לערעורים של ארצות הברית. [15] [16] [17] בית המשפט העליון דחה את ערעורו הסופי ב-13 בינואר 2014. [18]

שחרור מהכלא

ב-1 באוגוסט 2016 שוחרר דאגלס מוקדם מהכלא והועבר לשיקום בעיר ניו יורק [19] [20] [21] לאחר שבע שנים מאחורי סורג ובריח, [22] עם שנתיים מתוך שבע השנים בדיור מופרד. [23]

חיים אישיים

ספרו, "דרך ארוכה הביתה", עוסק בחוויותיו לאחר שהורשע באשמת החזקת והפצת סמים. [24] הוא פתח חשבון אינסטגרם, שבו הפוסט הראשון שלו היה תמונה של המשפט "תהיה האנרגיה שאתה רוצה למשוך". [25]

דאגלס נמצא במערכת יחסים ארוכה עם ויויאן ת'יבס. לזוג יש שני ילדים, בת בשם לואה איזי (ילידת 2017) ובן בשם ריידר (יליד 2020). [26]
