עונת 2012/2013 הייתה העונה ה-50 של הבונדסליגה, שהיא הליגה הגרמנית הבכירה בכדורגל. העונה החלה ב-24 באוגוסט 2012 והסתיימה ב-18 במאי 2013.

גרויטר פירט (בפעם הראשונה בתולדות המועדון), איינטרכט פרנקפורט ופורטונה דיסלדורף (לאחר 15 שנים בליגות הנמוכות) עלו מהליגה השנייה.

על ניצחון במשחק הוענקו שלוש נקודות. במידה ובסוף העונה מספר קבוצות היו מגיעות לאותו מספר נקודות, הקבוצה עם הפרש השערים הטוב יותר הייתה מקבלת יתרון.

הליגה כללה 18 קבוצות. קבוצות שסיימו במקומות ה-17-18 ירדו בסוף העונה לבונדסליגה השנייה, ושתי קבוצות עלו במקומן. הקבוצה שהגיעה למקום ה-16 השתתפה במשחקי מבחן מול הקבוצה שסיימה במקום השלישי בהבונדסליגה השנייה, כאשר המנצחת במפגש הכפול הייתה משחקת בעונה הבאה בבונדסליגה והמפסידה בבונדסליגה השנייה.

באיירן מינכן זכתה בתואר האליפות בפעם ה-22 בתולדות המועדון. היא זכתה גם בגביע.

גרויטר פירט ופורטונה דיסלדורף ירדו לבונדסליגה השנייה. הופנהיים נותרה בליגה הבכירה לאחר סדרת משחקי מבחן (מפגש כפול) נגד פ.צ. קייזרסלאוטרן.

כדורגלנים מצטיינים

שטפן קיסלינג, (באייר לברקוזן), אשר כבש 25 שערים, זכה בתואר מלך השערים של הליגה.
