עובד המדינה (בסרבית: Државни службеник, Državni službenik) היא סדרת טלוויזיה סרבית מז'אנר הפשע שנוצרה על ידי פרדראג גאגא אנטוניג'ביץ' ודימיטריאה וויינוב. שידור פרק הבכורה נערך ב-24 במרץ 2019 ברשת הטלוויזיה Superstar TV.‏[1] את התפקידים הראשיים גילמו מילאן מריץ', נבוישה דוגליץ' וזארקו לאושביץ'.

עלילה

הסדרה מגוללת את קורותיהם של סוכני סוכנות הביון והביטחון של סרביה (BIA), אשר הרחק מעיני הציבור מסירים מדי יום את האיומים המסוכנים ביותר על סרביה ונלחמים במבוך של תככים מקומיים וזרים, בנסיבות המצב הגאופוליטי המשתנה.[2] הגיבורים הם אנשים צעירים הנלחצים בנטל האחריות העצומה הנובעים בעיקר מלחץ של המנהלים שלהם.

הדמות הראשית היא לזר, סוכן עולה צעיר שמנסה למצוא איזון בין חיי המשפחה ועבודתו. כשסכנה גדולה מאיימת על סרביה, וכשהוא כבר לא יודע על מי לסמוך, לזר מבין שהוא יצטרך להקריב הקרבה גדולה ולעבוד מחוץ לכללים כדי להציל את האזרחים, את משפחתו ואת עצמו. אף על פי שהסדרה מגוללת אירועים ודמויות בדיוניות, הסדרה מוקדשת לכל אלה שהקריבו את חייהם כדי לשמור על ביטחון המדינה, שהקרבתם לעולם לא תיוודע משום שנשבעו לסודיות, ללא אפשרות להשיג אנדרטה או מעמד של גיבור לאומי למרות שמגיע להם.
