סוזן ג'ואן פרינגל הולדרנס (באנגלית: Susan Joan Pringle Holderness; נולדה ב-28 במאי 1949) היא שחקנית אנגלייה. היא שיחקה בתפקיד מרלין בויסי בסיטקום הבריטי "על שוטים ואנשים" בין השנים 1985 ל-2003, ובסדרת הספין אוף "הדשא ירוק יותר" מ-2005 עד 2009.[1][2]

ביוגרפיה

הולדרנס נולדה בהמפסטד שבלונדון. אחרי שסיימה את בחינות A-levels, למדה ב-Central School of Speech and Drama.

קריירת המשחק שלה החלה כשהופיעה עם להקת התיאטרון Manchester’s 69 Theatre Company במחזות "חלום ליל קיץ", "פר גינט", ובתפקיד דזדמונה במחזה "Catch My Soul" (גרסת מוזיקת רוק של "אותלו"). הולדרנס מופיעה באופן קבוע בתיאטרון, רדיו, קולנוע וטלוויזיה. בתיאטראות וסט אנד שיחקה במחזות "הזוג המוזר", "Why Not Stay for Breakfast", ו-"The Male of the Species". עוד שיחקה בהצגת יחיד "Our Kid" שזכתה לשבחים.

הולדרנס הופיעה במחזה "מונולוגים מהווגינה",[3] והייתה חברה בצוות שחקני המחזה "Seven Deadly Sins Four Deadly Sinners" שהוצג בסיבוב הופעות. היא שיחקה עם להקות תיאטרון רפרטוארי. הולדרנס מרבה להופיע במחזות של אלן אייקבורן. בשלוש מחזות ("באופן יחסי", "Time and Time Again", ו-"How the Other Half Loves") היא שיחקה בסיבוב הופעות לצדו של ג'ון צ'אליס, שגילם את בויסי בעלה של מרלין בקומדית המצבים "על שוטים ואנשים". סדרת הספין-אוף "הדשא ירוק יותר" רצה במשך ארבע עונות ושני סרטי ספיישל לחג המולד, בין השנים 2005 ל-2009.

ב-2010 שיחקה הולדרנס בתפקיד אנני בסיבוב הופעות בבריטניה של המחזה "נערות לוח השנה". באפריל עד אוגוסט 2011 הופיעה שוב בתפקיד אנני. בינואר עד מאי 2012 גילמה את סיליה וחזרה לגלם את אנני בסתיו 2012.

בטלוויזיה שיחקה הולדרנס בתפקיד מריאן בסדרה "המובחרים" (שתי עונות), בתפקיד ליז בסיטקום "It Takes a Worried Man" (שתי עונות), ג'ו בסדרה "The Brief", קלאופטרה הרביעית בדרמה ההיסטורית "The Cleopatras",[4] לורה דולן אשתו של ביגמיסט בפרק בסדרה "Minder". עוד שיחקה בתפקידי אורח בפרקים בסדרות "Bless This House", "הגומלים החדשים", "Thriller", הסדרה "Sob Sisters", הסדרה "Growing Pains", "רופאים", ב-"Lime Street" עם רוברט וגנר, ובסדרה "Murder in Suburbia". בסרט "Canned Laughter" גילמה את לוריין, אהובתו של רואן אטקינסון. בתוכנית "End of Part One" הופיעה הולדרנס במספר רב של חיקויים. בסדרה "ג'ון היקר" מאת ג'ון סאליבן שיחקה בתפקיד מגי. עוד הופיעה הולדרנס בתפקיד ג'ואן פורסטר בסדרה "Heartbeat", ג'ואן טראוויס בסדרה "Heartbeat", ובדמות אמה של רייצ'ל בסדרה "רגליים קרות".

סרטי הקולנוע בהם הופיעה הולדרנס כוללים את "That'll Be the Day" משנת 1973, ואת "Could Happen to You" משנת 1975. בנוסף הופיעה הולדרנס בסרט דל התקציב "Meat Draw" ובסרט "Out of Sight" של רשת גרנדה.[5]

ב-2014 שיחקה הולדרנס בדרמה הרפואית של ערוץ BBC One "חדר מיון" בתפקיד אליס סוויני. ב-2018 שיחקה בדמות גברת רוסי בסיטקום "עדיין פתוחים ברציפות" לצדו של דייוויד ג'ייסון שאיתו הופיעה בסדרה "על שוטים ואנשים".
