יחסי הממלכה המאוחדת–סן מרינו הם היחסים הדיפלומטיים שבין הרפובליקה המרוממת של סן מרינו לבין הממלכה המאוחדת של בריטניה הגדולה וצפון אירלנד. היחסים בין השתיים כוננו בשנת 1899 כשסן מרינו חתמה על הסכם הסגרה עם הממלכה המאוחדת.

היסטוריה

בשנת 1899 שתי המדינות חתמו על הסכם הסגרה ובכך כוננו יחסים דיפלומטיים שלא היה בהם עניין לממלכה לפני. קונסול בריטי כללי לענייני סן מרינו מונה בשנת 1900.[1][2]

במהלך מלחמת העולם השנייה, שכנות איטליה הכריזו מלחמה על הממלכה, דווח בתקשורת כי סן מרינו הצטרפה לאלה אך הממשלה הסן מרינזית הכחישה את כל הדיווחים. בהמשך התגלה שסן מרינו באמת לא הצטרפה לכוחות מדינות הציר.[3] סן מרינו הייתה נייטרלית כמעט כל המלחמה. ב-26 ביוני 1944, בעלות הברית בפיקוד בריטי בטעות הפציצו את סן מרינו בטענה שהמדינה (שבחלקה בצורה) מהווה מקלט לחיילים נאצים. ב-21 בספטמבר 1944 סן מרינו הכריזה מלחמה על גרמניה.[4]

בשיחות בחסות האו"ם ב-17-22 ביולי 1961, הממשלה הבריטית הסכימה לשלם לסן מרינו פיצוי על סך 80,000 לירה שטרלינג עבור ההפצצה בשוגג במלחמת העולם השנייה לאחר שהאחרונה הגישה תביעה לקבלת פיצוי כספי של 732 מיליון לירטות.[5] הממלכה המאוחדת מחזיקה בקונסוליה כללית לסן מרינו ברומא.[6] סן מרינו מחזיקה בקונסוליה בלונדון.[7]
