דייוויד ה. לוי (באנגלית: David H. Levy; נולד ב-22 במאי 1948, מונטריאול, קנדה) הוא אסטרונום יהודי-קנדי. לוי גילה 41 אסטרואידים ו-22 שביטים מהם 8 אשר ניתן היה לראות בעין הבלתי מצוידת. בנוסף לעיסוקו באסטרונומיה תצפיתית לוי עושה רבות להנגשת האסטרונומיה והמדע לציבור, הוא כתב 34 ספרים, במשך שנים רבות היה בעל טור במגזין Sky & Telescope ובמגזינים נוספים, במהלך מספר שנים שידר פודקאסט[1] אשר ארכיונו זמין להאזנה. פרסומו של לוי מחוץ לקהילת האסטרונומים קשור במידה רבה לגילוי השביט שומייקר-לוי 9 אותו גילה במשותף עם בני הזוג יוג'ין וקרוליין שומייקר בשנת 1993, שביט זה התרסק אל פני כוכב הלכת צדק שנה מאוחר יותר באירוע שנצפה מרחבי העולם. מבחינה מספרית לוי הוא השלישי מבין מגלי השביטים בהיסטוריה[2].

התעניינותו של לוי באסטרונומיה החלה כבר בילדותו אך תאריו האקדמיים אינם מתחום זה. ללוי תואר דוקטור בתחום הספרות האנגלית מהאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים אותו קיבל על מחקרו בשם: "השמיים בספרות אנגלית מודרנית מוקדמת"[3].
