בלה במברגר בלאשטאי (קדומת תואר אצולה) (בהונגרית: Béla Bamberger;‏ סגד, 8 במרץ 1854 [1] – בודפשט, 12 ביוני 1906)[2] היה כלכלן מדיני, עורך דין, סופר לכלכלה לאומית, חבר בוועדת הרשות המחוקקת של הבירה. עשרות פרסומיו המקצועיים התפרסמו וזכו בפרסים לרבות של האקדמיה ההונגרית למדעים. בשל הישגיו קיבל תואר אצולה.

קורות חיים

בלה במברגר נולד במשפחה יהודית כבנם של שמואל במברגר (1827–1874)[3] סיטונאי, בין 1860 לבין 1865 נשיא הקהילה היהודית בסגד ושל רוזליה פרוסניץ. הוא למד באוניברסיטאות בודפשט (שמה היום אוניברסיטת אטווש לוראנד) ובאוניברסיטת וינה. לאחר שהפך לעורך דין השתקע בבודפשט. הוא כתב מספר חיבורים בנושא המטבע. יצירותיו שפורסמו באופן : "קדומות ותוצאות פיננסיות של שאלת המטבעות בצפון אמריקה" (1890); "מס הבורסה" (1895). שניהם זכו בפרסי קריירה שלהאקדמיה ההונגרית למדעים. בשל הישגיו קיבל ב-1903 תואר אצולה הונגרית.

חייו הפרטיים

אשתו הייתה אאוגניה שרולטה פישל, איתה התחתן ב-1881 בבודפשט.[4] בנו אישטוואן במברגר (1882–1931) היה עורך דין.[5]
