אלה רוז אמהוף (באנגלית: Ella Rose Emhoff; נולדה ב-29 במאי 1999) היא אמנית ומעצבת אופנה אמריקאית ממוצא יהודי. היא בתו של האדון השני של ארצות הברית דאגלס אמהוף ובתה החורגת של סגנית נשיא ארצות הברית קמלה האריס[1].

ביוגרפיה

אמהוף נולדה לדאגלס אמהוף, עורך דין בתיקים הקשורים לתחום הבידור ולקרסטין אמהוף (לבית מקקין), מפיקת סרטים ולה אח בוגר בשם קול[2][3]. היא קרויה על שם זמרת הג'אז הידועה אלה פיצג'רלד[4]. אף על פי שאביה הוא יהודי, אמהוף סיפרה כי לא קיבלה חינוך יהודי, ולכן אינה מזדהה כיהודייה[5][6]. הוריה התגרשו ב-2008[7][3]. באוגוסט 2014, אביה התחתן עם קמאלה האריס, שהייתה באותה העת התובעת הכללית של קליפורניה[7][8]. ב-2016, אמה החורגת נבחרה לכהן כחברת הסנאט מטעם מדינת קליפורניה וב-2021, נבחרה לתפקיד לסגנית נשיא ארצות הברית לאחר שרצה עם ג'ו ביידן בבחירות לנשיאות ארצות הברית שנערכו ב-2020[9].

אמהוף למדה בבית ספר פרסונס לעיצוב שבניו יורק, שם התמחתה בעיצוב אופנה והיא סיימה את לימודיה במאי 2021[10][11].

ב-20 בינואר 2021, אמהוף השתתפה בהשבעה של ג'ו ביידן בוושינגטון די. סי., שם הושבעה אמה החורגת כסגנית הנשיא ה-49 של ארצות הברית. היא קיבלה תשומת לב תקשורתית בטקס ההשבעה בשל השמלה והמעיל עטור תכשיטים (בעיצובה של חברה האופנה האיטלקי Miu Miu) אותם לבשה בהשבעה[12][10]. לאחר ההשבעה, מספר העוקבים של אמהוף באינסטגרם גדל מ-50,000 עוקבים ליותר מ-300,000 תוך פחות משבוע, והייתה עלייה של כ-455% בחיפוש שמה באינטרנט בשש השעות לאחר ההשבעה[13].

אמהוף מעצבת ז'קטים, כובעים, מעילים ומכנסיים קצרים סרוגים[14][15][16]. היא גם מוכרת קרמיקה וציורים פרי יצירתה[17][18].

בינואר 2021, אמהוף הוחתמה על ידי סוכנות הדוגמנות IMG (אנ')[10][19]. היא זכתה לתשומת לב תקשורתית רבה, בעיקר מה-BBC ומהניו יורק טיימס על כך שיש לה קעקועים והיא לא מגלחת את שיער בית השחי שלה[20].

חיים אישיים

אמהוף מתגוררת בברוקלין וידועה בתמיכתה הרבה בזכויות להט"ב, במיוחד בזכויות טרנסג'נדרים[21][14]. היא פעילה בהפגנות פרו-פלסטיניות מאז פרוץ מלחמת חרבות ברזל.[22]. אמהוף נמצאת בזוגיות עם עורך מגזין האופנה לגברים GQ, סם הין[23].
