דיפלומות צבאיות רומאיות (באנגלית: Roman Military Diplomas, קיצור: RMD) הוא אוסף של דיפלומות צבאיות רומאיות, הכולל את כל הדיפלומות צבאיות רומאיות שפורסמו משנת 1955. עד היום פורסמו 5 כרכים בעריכת מרגרט רוקסן ופול הולדר, הכוללים למעלה מ-470 דיפלומות.

פרסומים

הדיפלומות הצבאיות הרומאיות פורסמו לראשונה בכרך הארבעה עשר (XIV) של אוסף הכתובות הלאטיניות, שפורסם בשני חלקים בשנים 1935 ו-1955[1]. לאחר מכן הדיפלומות נאספו על ידי מרגרט רוקסן בשלושה ספרים בשם דיפלומות צבאיות רומאיות. הכרך הרביעי נערך על ידי מרגרט רוקסן ופאול הולדר ויצא לאור ב-2003. באותה שנה נפטרה רוקסן. הכרך החמישי יצא לאור בשנת 2006 על ידי פול הולדר[2]. דיפלומות צבאיות רבות נקנו על ידי המוזיאון הרומאי-גרמני במינכן, ופורסמו בשנת 2004 (ידועות בקיצור RGZM[3]). מספר התעודות הידועות הכולל עומד, נכון לתחילת 2010, על 881 יחידות. בשני העשורים האחרונים התגלו מספר רב של דיפלומות. רובן הגיעו מחפירות לא מסודרות שנערכו באזור הבלקן, בעיקר בשטחים שהיו שייכים לפרובינקיות מואסיה העליונה ותרקיה.
