C-SPAN (ראשי תיבות של Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network) היא רשת טלוויזיה אמריקאית שהוקמה בשנת 1979[1][2] ביוזמת חברות הכבלים האמריקאיות כשירות ציבורי ללא מטרות רווח. הרשת נוצרה במטרה לספק לציבור האמריקאי סיקור רציף וחי של הנעשה בממשל הפדרלי האמריקני, ובמיוחד בקונגרס האמריקני, באופן בלתי מסונן, לא ערוך, וללא פרשנויות.

רשת C-SPAN כוללת הן את ערוץ הטלוויזיה המקורי C-SPAN (ממוקד בעיקר בנעשה בבית הנבחרים האמריקני), הן את ערוץ הטלוויזיה C-SPAN2 שהוקם ב-1986 (הממוקד בעיקר בנעשה בסנאט האמריקני), והן את ערוץ הטלוויזיה C-SPAN3 שהוקם ב-2001 (אשר ממוקד לרוב באירועים חיים שאינם מכוסים על ידי שני הערוצים האחרים, כולל הפגנות, נאומים ודיונים בנושא מדיניות ציבורית), את תחנת הרדיו WCSP-FM,[3] ואתר האינטרנט של הרשת, C-SPAN.org, אשר מספק שידורים חיים של כל שלושת ערוצי הטלוויזיה ותחנת הרדיו, וכמו גם ארכיון גדול עם תוכני וידאו מהתוכניות של הרשת לאורך השנים.

הרשת משדרת בין היתר אירועים פוליטיים מרכזיים בארצות הבירת, לרוב בשידור חי, דיונים בקונגרס, מסיבות עיתונאים וראיונות עם אישים בולטים בפוליטיקה האמריקנית.

הרשת פועלת באופן עצמאי, מבלי להסתמך על פרסומות או על מימון מהממשל.
