עידו שריר (נולד בשנת 1975) הוא מנכ"ל עמותת רעות. בשנים 2014–2016 כיהן כמנכ"ל משרד המדע, הטכנולוגיה והחלל.

ביוגרפיה

שריר נולד, גדל והתחנך בתל אביב. בוגר בית הספר אליאנס תל אביב.

בשנים 1993–1997 שירת בצה"ל בתפקידי פיקוד בחטיבת הצנחנים ומשרת כקצין מילואים פעיל בדרגת סא"ל בעוצבת האש (אוגדה 98).

בוגר המרכז הבינתחומי הרצליה במשפט וממשל ותוכנית להב פיתוח מנהלים באוניברסיטת תל אביב. התמחה במשרד עורכי דין דנציגר קלגסבלד ושות' וב-2003 הוסמך כעורך דין.

טרם כניסתו למגזר הציבורי, פעל כמנהל שותף בחברת ניהול (עידו שריר שירותי ניהול בע"מ), במסגרתה ליווה וניהל חברות במשבר בתחומי התעשייה והטכנולוגיה בישראל ובארצות הברית.

נשוי לליאור עופר שריר[1] ואב לשתי בנות ובן.

תפקידים במגזר הציבורי

בשנים 2007–2008 שימש שריר כראש המטה של סגן שר הביטחון, האלוף (מיל') מתן וילנאי. במסגרת תפקידו לקח חלק בהשלמת תהליכי החקיקה ויישום חוק שירות המילואים כמו גם בהקמת רשות החירום הלאומית (רח"ל)[2].

בשנת 2008 מונה לראש המטה של נשיא המדינה התשיעי שמעון פרס. במסגרת התפקיד ריכז את המאמצים הדיפלומטיים, התקשורתיים, הטכנולוגיים והכלכליים של הצוות הנשיאותי ואת הקשר של הנשיא עם הרשות השופטת, ממשלת ישראל והכנסת[2]. לאחר שלוש וחצי שנים במשרה זו מונה בשנת 2012 למנכ"ל מרכז פרס לשלום ולחדשנות. בתקופת כהונתו קודמה תוכנית אסטרטגית וחשיבה על מיצוב מחדש של פעילות המרכז והכנת התשתית לפעילותו בשנים שלאחר סיום כהונתו של הנשיא פרס[3].

בשנת 2014, מונה על ידי השר יעקב פרי למנכ"ל משרד המדע, הטכנולוגיה והחלל[2][3]. בתקופת כהונתו בוצעה הגדלת תקציב המשרד בהיקף משמעותי בדגש על השקעות ממשלתיות במחקר הישומי, ביסוס והרחבת פעילות סוכנות החלל הישראלית, והרחבת התקציב המיועד לקידום נשים במדע[4][5].

שימש כסגן נשיא למדיניות וקשרי ממשל במרכז הבינתחומי הרצליה[6][7],

החל משנת 2018 משמש כמנכ"ל עמותת רעות[8], הפעילה בתחומי הבריאות, הרווחה והזיקנה בישראל[9].
