ניקולה סטיבנסון (באנגלית: Nicola Stephenson; נולדה ב-5 ביולי 1971) היא שחקנית אנגלייה. היא מוכרת בעיקר מהופעותיה בתפקיד מרגרט קלמנס באופרת הסבון "ברוקסייד", בדמות ג'ולי פיצג'ון בסדרה "הולבי סיטי", שרה ויליאמס בסדרה "The Chase", ובתפקיד טס האריס באופרת הסבון "אמרדייל".

ביוגרפיה

סטיבנסון נולדה באולדהאם שבמחוז לנקשייר[1] ולמדה בבית הספר נורת' צ'דרטון.

היא ידועה בעיקר מתפקידיה בטלוויזיה, בהם מרגרט קלמנס בסדרה "ברוקסייד" של ערוץ 4. הנשיקה שלה עם אנה פריל (שגילמה את בת' ג'ורדש בסדרה) הייתה הנשיקה הלסבית הראשונה ששודרה באופרות סבון בטלוויזיה הבריטית.[2][3] ב-2012 שודרה סצנת הנשיקה בטקס הפתיחה של אולימפיאדת לונדון בבימויו של דני בויל ששודר ברחבי העולם.[4] תפקידים ידועים נוספים שלה היו ג'ולי פיצג'ון / ברדפורד בסדרה "הולבי סיטי", סוזי דייווידסון ב"לדפוק שעון", ג'קי ארמסטרונג בסדרת הסרטים "אורות חג המולד" / "אורות הצפון" / "אורות הכרך", שרה ויליאמס בסדרה של ה-BBC "משפחה וחיות אחרות" ובסיטקום "All at Sea". ב-2012 שיחקה סטיבנסון בתפקיד לואיז בסדרת דרמה של ITV בשם "Homefront". ב-2014 הצטרפה לצוות השחקנים של הסדרה "דרך ווטרלו" בדמות אלי וסטברוק המורה לאמנות.

בתיאטרון הופיעה סטיבנסון במחזה "פטריוט שלי" בבימויו של פיטר גיל עם הלהקה השייקספירית המלכותית, במחזות "נערתו ששת" ו"אדמונד" בתיאטרון המלכותי הלאומי בבימויו של אד הול, ובמחזה "סוס מלחמה" בתיאטרון ניו לונדון בווסט אנד בבימויה של מריאן אליוט.

ב-2007 שיחקה סטיבנסון בתפקיד ראשי במיני-סדרה בת שלושה חלקים של ה-BBC בשם "Superstorm" שביים ג'וליאן סימפסון. ב-2014 עבדה שוב עם סימפסון כשכיכבה בתפקיד אורח בפרק בסדרה "תחבולות חדשות".

בתחילת 2015 הופיעה בדרמה "Safe House" של רשת ITV.[5] מ-2015 עד 2016 שיחקה סטיבנסון בתפקיד טס האריס באופרת הסבון "אמרדייל". אחרי חמישה חודשים הופסקה השתתפותה בסדרה כשהדמות שגילמה נהרגה בתאונת פגע-וברח.

חיים אישיים

לסטיבנסון הייתה מערכת יחסים עם השחקן קירן או'בריין במשך שמונה שנים עד ל-1999.[6] יש לה שתי בנות, אסמה נולדה ב-2008 ואייריס נולדה ב-2010. היא נשואה לאמן פול סטיבנסון.
